Three-Day Pattern Mind Retreat at Iluka Retreat
What if the change our world needs begins not with new strategies, but with remembering an ancient way of seeing?
You're invited to join a small gathering of leaders, regenerative practitioners, and change agents for a transformative, immersive three-day retreat at Iluka Retreat on the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria.
This retreat is for practitioners ready to move from thinking about living systems to being living systems. We look forward to practising together.
Why This Retreat Matters
To change the world, we must change our minds—shifting from seeing a mechanistic world to recognizing the living, breathing biological systems we belong to. This retreat moves beyond strategies, ideas and frameworks into direct, embodied experience.
Together, we’ll explore how living communities self-organize and awaken our native Pattern Mind—the birthright perspective that perceives dynamics, relationships, and wholeness beneath apparent separation.
What We'll Practise
Drawing from centuries-old human traditions from around the world, we'll explore:
Gentle martial arts movement and breathwork
Traditional tracking skills & friction firemaking
Living systems thinking frameworks grounded in lived experience
Clarifying the roles we're genuinely called to play in our communities
Understand the patterns of life here as a way to understand patterns anywhere

About Joel Glanzberg and Pattern Mind
Joel Glanzberg is a co-founder of Regenesis Institute and a longtime regenerative practitioner, educator, and founder of Pattern Mind. His work bridges living systems thinking with embodied ecological practice, helping leaders perceive and participate in the deeper patterns that organize life. As a partner organization of Regenesis, Pattern Mind is an organization focused on helping us remember our original pattern perspective, learned in our mother’s womb. Bringing together aspects from traditional tracking and wayfinding, permaculture, and living systems thinking we can understand and fully participate in the living world of which we are a part.
