Join Climate Policy Initiative (CPI) and Deutsche Bank for an action-oriented NY Climate Week event showcasing five investable climate finance solutions targeting adaptation and mitigation in underserved markets. This in-person event will convene leading investors, entrepreneurs, and experts to explore key barriers and opportunities in scaling capital flows to emerging economies—where finance is most needed and least available.
Global climate finance hit a record $1.7 trillion in 2023 but must grow fivefold by 2030 to avoid severe environmental and economic consequences. Achieving this requires stronger collaboration across investors and institutions, and a more robust pipeline of bankable solutions in developing economies. CPI is addressing this gap through the Global Innovation Lab for Climate Finance and the Catalytic Climate Finance Facility, which have supported over 90 climate finance vehicles that have collectively mobilized $4.3 billion in emerging markets to date.
