Fintech has become more than an industry — it’s a way the world moves. Join us for the exclusive launch of The Flavour of Fintech Asia book, the second volume of the celebrated series that began with Europe’s fintech story.
This time, author Harlan Cockburn journeys east — The second volume of Flavor of Fintech shifts its focus eastward, exploring Fintech developments from Türkiye through to Japan, where cross-pollination of ideas allows newer markets to learn from Europe’s experience while creating localized solutions. Asia, with its lighter regulation, passion for SuperApps, and access to vast cross-border tech talent—particularly visible in examples like Hong Kong and Shenzhen—is positioned to leapfrog Western Fintech ecosystems. The region’s diversity and innovation demonstrate how Fintech in Asia is evolving rapidly, blending cultural nuance with technological ambition.
The evening will be presented by Dr Andras Rung, founder and CEO of Ergomania the digital design company behind the project. With offices in Budapest and Amsterdam and partners at San Francisco, Stockholm and presence in the Startup scene in Japan. Ergomania continues to craft user experiences that power fintech innovation across continents.
