Why Venture Capital, Why Now? Gaining exposure to disruptive businesses with StepStone
Endowus warmly invites you to an exclusive in-person fireside chat to explore how individual investors can access institutional-grade private venture capital and growth equity through the StepStone Private Venture & Growth Fund (SPRING).
Venture and growth investing has entered a new era of opportunity — one defined by accelerating technological disruption, the mainstreaming of AI, and a generation of private companies staying private for longer and scaling faster than ever before. With companies like SpaceX going public only after attaining significant valuations, arguably, a large portion of growth would have already been captured.
Therefore, for investors with the right access, the space offers the potential for outsized, asymmetric returns that are structurally difficult to replicate in public markets, making high-conviction exposure to the best managers an increasingly essential component of a truly diversified portfolio.
During this session, we will discuss how SPRING is constructed to capture this opportunity through diversified exposure across primaries, secondaries, and co-investments in early stage and growth investing, and how it can complement an existing alternatives allocation.
The session will be moderated by Yuhan Tan, Head of Alternatives at Endowus, and we are pleased to have John Wuestling, Partner at StepStone Group and the key product specialist for the StepStone Private Venture & Growth Fund (SPRING), as our guest speaker.
