Many organizations collect extensive customer feedback but struggle to turn those insights into coordinated, sustainable action. Fragmented data, unclear ownership, and limited root-cause analysis can leave recurring customer problems unresolved, increasing operating costs, frustrating employees, and making it difficult to demonstrate the business value of CX.
Session One, XMStudio: Foundations (October 8), examines the problem at hand and explores the financial and non-financial costs of failing to translate Voice of the Customer (VoC) insights into meaningful action. Participants will consider why traditional approaches often fall short and how the gap between listening and action affects customers, employees, operations, and business performance.
Session Two, XMStudio: Solutions (October 22), follows two weeks later and introduces Phan Ngoc Minh's novel solution, the VoC-to-Action Decision Canvas, a practical framework for transforming customer signals into measurable improvement. Participants will explore how the Canvas helps practitioners triangulate customer feedback with behavioral and operational evidence, identify root causes, establish clear accountability, select the appropriate inner- or outer-loop response, and define measures that verify improvement.
Together, the two sessions move from understanding the challenge to applying a practical solution, helping organizations progress from simply listening to customers to systematically addressing the processes, systems, and behaviors that shape their experiences.
Key Takeaways Include:
1. Diagnose why VoC insights often fail to produce meaningful organizational action.
2. Identify and communicate the financial and non-financial costs of leaving customer problems unresolved.
3. Triangulate customer feedback with behavioral observations and operational data to develop stronger root-cause hypotheses.
4. Translate customer signals into clear ownership, inner-loop recovery and outer-loop improvement actions.
5. Select operational and experience metrics to verify whether the actions taken have delivered measurable improvement.
