The Summer Solstice Kickoff
The whole idea behind The Summer Solstice Kickoff is simple: to bring our community together. A summer evening in the park to catch up with old friends, meet a few new ones, and spend a few hours with the people who make this place feel like home.
Some of you we've known for years. Some of you we haven't met yet. That's exactly the point. Bring your family, bring a neighbor, bring a friend from a few streets over, and help us fill the park.
Here's what we've got planned:
🐾 Adoptable dogs from High Country Humane, here from 4 to 6
🍕 Fresh pizza catered on site by Pizzicletta, rolling at 5, vegan option included
🎶 Music and lawn games going the whole time
📅 Friday, June 19 | 4 to 7 PM
📍 Ponderosa Trails Park
Because if this neighborhood agrees on anything, it's good pizza and a soft spot for a dog that needs a home.
Bringing your own dog? Please do, as long as they're good around other dogs. Keep them leashed and close, out of respect for your neighbors, the dogs up for adoption, and all the food in the park.
If it rains, we'll have pop-up tents and keep right on going.
Come hungry, bring a chair if you want one, and RSVP so we know how much pizza to order. Thanks for helping us spread the word.
