Welcome New Friends With Indian Food
Remember Norway Welcome Week? New faces, late nights, and probably far too many names to remember. 🥳
I met so many great people during the week, and I kept thinking it would be a shame if that was the last time we all saw each other. So I started cooking up a little reunion in my head: one evening, one big table, Indian food, and a chance to actually catch up.
I’ve arranged a group space for us at Indian Street Food & Co at Sørenga, and I’m very excited to share some of my favourite food from India with you, whether you’re already a spice lover or completely new to Indian food.
🥂 How the evening will work
Come straight from work, class, or whatever you have going on. The bar will be open, so you can grab a drink or a snack, join the conversations around you, and settle in.
Then we’ll sit down together and have dinner family-style. I’ve arranged the evening with the restaurant, so this isn’t just us randomly turning up and hoping they can fit a giant group somewhere. 🙂
🍽️ Taste of India!
Indian Street Food & Co is working on an interesting tasting menu from the restaurant and at an exciting offer for 395 NOK per person.
I will share further details as we get closer to the date. Please do share your dietary preferences in the registration form so it helps the kitchen staff prepare better.
👯 Bring a +1! or more
I’m a firm believer in the more, themerrier. Bring a friend, a flatmate, a colleague, or that person you keep saying “we should hang out sometime” to.
They don’t need to have been at Welcome Week, just make sure they RSVP as well so I know how many seats we need.
🎟️ Limited spots; for now
I’ve reserved space for a limited group, so RSVP early if you’d like to join. If it fills up quickly, I’ll check with the restaurant and see whether we can expand the booking.
