About Event

After two successful circles, we're back for a third.

This time, we're talking about how you communicate what you feel, even in the most tense moments.

You feel the emotion coming up, maybe you can name it or maybe you can't. Maybe instead of sharing how you feel, you get defensive or launch into attack, maybe you just yell or stomp out of the room. Maybe she does the same and now you're both defending positions neither of you actually holds.

What if you had the tools to actually communicate with your partner, your parents, or your friend. What if you didn't just talk AT each other, but actually hear what the other is trying to say.

What if you could respond instead of react? What if the friction you keep running into isn't really about them, but about a pattern in you that's been running the show?

If you're anything like most guys who show up, you've spent the week almost entirely in your head. This will be a few hours out of your head and instead connected to your heart, in a room with other men who are actually trying to do the same.

What does it mean to be a man today?

This time: a man who can feel it, name it, and say it in a way the person across from him can actually receive.

What to expect:

  • A facilitated 3-hour experience combining movement, reflection, and open sharing

  • Connection with a small group of men (12 max) who are asking the same questions & doing the work

  • A safe, confidential space to speak honestly — without judgment

  • A snack break and time to hang out after the formal circle closes

  • Doors open 18:30 - circle starts 19:00

This is not a workshop nor lecture, it's a co-creation, a conversation between men who are willing to get real.

After the last two circles

Guys told me they arrived wiped out from the week, in their heads, cerebral, a little isolated, and left calm, clear, lighter. Not because anything got fixed. Because for a few hours they were in a room with other men actually willing to say the real thing, and that alone shifts something. One guy told me he's been telling everyone he knows about the circle, that it's, "an absolute dream for men."

Who this is for

  • Growth minded men, living or working in Berlin, willing to get honest

  • Men in a relationship, or men who want to be

  • Men looking to build real friendships with other growth-minded guys, not just small talk at a bar

  • Men who are feeling isolated lately, working from home, heads-down, low on real in-person connection

  • Curious about yourself, willing to sit with other men asking the same questions

  • Men joining for the first time, you don't need the history here. You just need to be willing to look.

You will leave with a clearer read on what you actually feel, and how to say it so it lands.

Some of what happens in the room you'll have to experience to understand.

Why with other men

There's something that only happens in a room full of men doing this together.

You realize you're not behind. You're not broken. You're not the only one carrying something you haven't said out loud yet.

We grow faster alongside each other than we ever do alone — clarity comes from hearing another man speak your exact fear before you've found the words for it yourself.

Facilitated by Mike Carr

Mike left New York for a life with more edge to it. No fixed address, then Berlin. Six months that turned into three years of figuring out who he actually is and how to live authentically. Now he creates spaces for men and women: Deep Dating nights, Men's Circles, Mixed Circles, Stammtisch dinners that don't stay dinners. Some nights are for laughing. Some are for the stuff we don't usually say out loud. Most are both.

Capacity is intentionally limited to 12 men. This is not a big event. It's a small, intentional gathering — and that's the point.

If you've been waiting for a space like this — this is it.
