What’s the game about?
You’ll pitch your project in a way that ensures you definitely don’t get funded.
Why?
To quickly identify the weak spots that make your product presentation unclear or unconvincing to investors.
We’ll split you into teams, give you creative tasks, and through the game you’ll discover where your presentation, logic, value, or positioning breaks down. After playing, founders often say: “Now I finally understand what turns investors away.”
About the organizer
Denis Kalyshkin is a US venture investor with 11 years of experience in a U.S. fund. He has reviewed 11,000+ startups, with 3 unicorns and 20+ successful exits in the portfolio.
In recent years, Denis has focused on helping founders strengthen their skills and prepare for fundraising — and this game is part of that mission.
After the game, Denis will give a short, practical talk on why investors say no and what really influences their decisions.
And yes — you’ll have the chance to ask him questions personally in an informal setting.
See you there!
