SFTR City Hall Field Trip: Pictures, Pizza, and Public Comment 101
Join us on May 19th on a Member's Field Trip to City Hall!
Let's look at MTA's past with SFAC's exhibit "Moving San Francisco" photo exhibit featuring select photo's from SFMTA's photo archive. If you've already seen it, please join us still and share with the group your favorites!
Then, we'll head up to Room 400 and learn who the SFMTA Board is, what they do, when they meet, how the meetings normally go, and how to do public comment!
We will be joined by SFMTA Board Of Directors Board Secretary Christine Silva where she'll share an overview of a typical board meeting, her role as the Board Secretary, and tips on attending meetings and doing public comment.
Members with lots of experience doing public comment are also welcome to join to also share your own tips and suggestions!
We'll be serving pizza from Outta Sight Pizza! Yum Yum!
Please use Grove Street Entrance from 5:30pm-6:00pm because those doors will close at 6:00pm and you'll need to use the main entrance on Polk St after 6:00pm.
