The Uncertainty Advantage: Build a Future-Ready Career
About the Session
Uncertainty isn’t a setback — it’s the new reality we’re all navigating. This fast-paced 45-minute session introduces The Uncertainty Advantage, a book that flips the script: uncertainty isn’t a problem, it’s your runway. Through six simple pillars, the book offers practical ways to stay adaptable, curious, and confident as you plan what comes next.
Designed with Centennial College students in mind, this session blends a quick overview of the book with a hands-on activity that helps you map your own “uncertainty landscape” — the ideas, interests, signals, and possibilities that might shape your next step.
Participants will also receive access to an optional follow-up worksheet, and those who complete it will qualify for a 30-minute mentorship session with the COIE team during our full book-club conversation in January.
