Davos 2026 Dinner | Game On: Investing in Nature, Carbon Removal & the Future of Sport
Private Dinner | Davos 2026
Limited Capacity | By Invitation & Approval
This private dinner convenes a small circle of senior leaders across the sports economy, capital markets, cities, and climate innovation for an off-the-record dialogue during the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting.
The global sports economy — valued at over $2 trillion — is one of the world’s most powerful engines of jobs, health, social cohesion, and cultural legitimacy. Yet nature loss, extreme heat, pollution, and rising inactivity increasingly threaten the environmental and social foundations that make performance and participation possible. At this pivotal moment, sport has a unique opportunity to help redefine prosperity — aligning financial performance with societal well-being and environmental resilience.
Co-hosted with Gigablue and the Didier Drogba Foundation, the dinner explores how investment in nature, permanent carbon removal, and enabling systems is becoming essential infrastructure for the future of sport — moving beyond footprint reduction toward long-term value creation. Gigablue brings a perspective on treating nature as measurable, governable, balance-sheet–relevant infrastructure, while the Didier Drogba Foundation highlights how sport can act as a delivery system, mobilising capital, youth leadership, and stewardship at scale.
Designed as a closed-door, peer-level exchange, the dinner is intentionally limited to enable candid discussion, shared insight, and meaningful connection among leaders operating at the highest levels of decision-making.
Space is limited. Registration of interest is subject to review and confirmation.
