About Event

Grab your favorite tea or snack and join us for our next Conscious Conversation. This week, we dive into the habit loop that's quietly running your life through your phone.

You check your phone without deciding to, hundreds of times a day, and most of those checks were never really a choice. The pull is engineered, and the cost adds up in places you'd least expect: your imagination, your presence, your own sense of what you actually feel. Join Dina Samra, Founder of The Rewilding Collective, and Ben Krechevsky, Founder of Purpose Over Pixels, for a conversation about the science behind that pull, why the usual advice doesn't stick, and what it actually takes to get free.

What You'll Walk Away With

  • Why your brain chases a hit every time you reach for your phone, and the dopamine loop that keeps the cycle running

  • Why willpower alone can't out-muscle an attention economy engineered to keep you scrolling

  • Real, doable resets, from a phone-free bedroom to breaking the six-week habit cycle

Event Flow

- Welcome + Introductions
- Conversation: Why This Matters, What's Actually Happening, and What Works
- Audience AMA
- Homework + Closing

Who This Is For

  • You know you're on your phone more than you want to be, and you're not sure why you can't seem to change it

  • You want the actual science behind why change is hard, explained in a way that finally makes sense

  • You're curious what your life could feel like with more room for imagination, presence, and connection

  • You're ready to try something small

About The Rewilding Collective
The Rewilding Collective creates thoughtfully designed experiences where we quiet the noise, regulate our nervous systems, and come together in community. Rooted in creativity, movement, play, reflection, and time in nature, we create the conditions to reset and show up more fully in both our work and lives.

Dina Samra is the founder, a nature guide, facilitator, and speaker who spent 17 years in startup and tech before building this work full time. Every Rewilding gathering, from a sauna to a sound bath to a sensory walk through Central Park, starts from the same idea: the more regulated and aligned you are internally, the more capable you become of showing up for what actually matters to you.

About the Series
This conversation is part of the Conscious Conversations series, a collection of intimate dialogues that explore what it means to live, lead, and connect with awareness. Each session brings together voices that challenge the pace of modern life and explore topics that bring different perspectives to our day-to-day lives.
