Open Demos

​Open Demos is an event series that looks to provide attendees the opportunity to demo their work in a short 1-minute format. The evening will consist of a long array of these short presentations in a rapid-fire manner, with the space remaining opening afterwards for free discussion.

​​Purchasing a ticket to Open Demos only provides access to the space for the evening. For full-day access, see the full day event page, New Office Hours 9.

​Format

​The experience will run similarly as to how an open-mic operates. Attendees will have prepared a short 1-minute demo of their work, and there will be a presentation setup available for everyone who would like to participate. Attendees can step up to the mic or work with the team to indicate interest in presenting.

​After all presentations have been exhausted, the room will break into open discussion and allow for attendees to discuss the demos they just witnessed.

• ​6:30PM - 7:00: Opening

• ​7:00PM - 8PM: Demos

• ​8PM - 10PM: Open Discussion

• ​10PM: Closing

​Logistics

​The surrounding area of the building is a beautiful neighbourhood with a variety of eats, cafes, as well as access to McCormick Park.

• ​Location: Exact studio location/unit will be provided to accepted attendees.

• ​​Duration: 6:30PM - 10:00PM

• ​Food & Beverage: Some snacks and light refreshments will be provided.
