On Wednesday, December 9, Agency 2026 closes in Calgary with Alberta Velocity: Full Speed Ahead, an open industry day. Industry demonstrates what they are ready to do, and government and industry talk it through on the stage.
This is a laser focused conversation about how vendors can help Alberta move full speed ahead; this is not a product showcase. Speaking slots are limited, so we will select a small number of submissions that offer very strategic value to the vision in the Velocity White Papers, Alberta’s open playbook for an AI-enabled public service: ttps://thevelocitywhitepapers.com/en/

Respond to one of two challenges
Agent orchestration and engineering. How do we orchestrate agents so thousands can work concurrently and take on complex tasks?
Human-centred change management. How do we use AI to support human change management? What is the state of the art in helping people move to an agentic government?
What we are looking for
Value to Alberta. Focus on what your work means for Alberta and the public service, rather than on the product itself.
A direct response. Address one of the two challenges. Please note, we are not featuring chatbot demos.
A senior voice. We encourage a country head or senior member of your leadership to speak.
Your best thinking. The stage is shared with Alberta’s leadership, and we are looking for submissions that match that level.
Numbers. Where you can, show cost, time and accuracy.
What to expect
Each challenge opens with compelling demos, followed by a dialogue between government and industry on the stage. Every company is pre-screened.
