Meet the Hosts:
Boston Impact Initiative (BII) is a nonprofit impact investing fund and certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) that invests in people and places building community ownership, shared wealth, and economic power, particularly in communities of color. Since 2017, BII has invested over $20 million across 100 small businesses and community-controlled real estate projects in New England. Through the ARC Fellowship, BII has trained over 90 impact fund managers to launch community-based impact funds, with 29 already raising and investing nationwide.
RSF's mission is to change finance and finance change. By offering investment notes, donor advised funds, and loans, they mobilize money toward positive impact. Since 1984, they have innovated finance tools and invested in healthier food systems, cleaner climates, whole-child education, community impact, racial justice, and more.
IFF champions nonprofits across the Midwest to shape more equitable and vibrant communities through community-centered lending, development, and real estate solutions. Since 1988, they have worked at the intersection of facilities and finance to help nonprofits serving a variety of sectors increase their financial stability and programmatic offerings and achieve their missions.
