2 hour mini-Retreat: Relationship Reset for Couples
Even strong relationships can get caught in patterns that leave both people feeling distant, defensive, misunderstood, or alone.
Give your relationship a meaningful reset with us at Point San Pablo Harbor for a half-day couples retreat designed to help you step out of familiar loops and reconnect with the person underneath them.
Exclusively for couples. 10 couple tickets available.
Relationship Reset is a two-hour experiential mini-retreat guided by Ryan Ginn for couples who want more safety, openness, affection, and partnership — without turning the day into group therapy or a public processing circle.
Drawing from PACT, Internal Family Systems, and over 15 years of work with couples and relationships, Ryan will guide you through a grounded mix of teaching, reflection, and structured exercises with your partner. The focus is not on figuring out who is right or wrong. It is on slowing down the moments where both nervous systems get activated, understanding what is happening underneath, and practicing a different way back to each other.
You'll leave with:
A clearer understanding of the recurring cycle that tends to pull you apart
More compassion for the protective reactions each of you brings into conflict
A practical sense of how your nervous systems shape what you read, assume, and respond to
A more grounded way to communicate when things feel tender or tense
Simple repair practices you can use at home when disconnection happens
More connection to what you value and appreciate about your relationship
One or two concrete practices for creating greater connection after the retreat
For couples only · intimate, guided, and private
Good to know: This is not group therapy, and couples will not be expected to share private relationship details with the room. Most of the deeper work happens privately between you and your partner, with guidance and structure along the way.

Relationship Reset with Ryan Ginn — 2-Hour Couples Session
Ryan will guide a two-hour experiential session designed to help couples step out of familiar patterns and reconnect with more care.
You’ll explore what happens in the moments when your nervous systems get activated: the protective parts that emerge, the assumptions you make about one another, and the ways you may unintentionally lose connection.
Through teaching, guided reflection, and structured exercises with your partner, you’ll practice slowing those moments down, understanding what is happening underneath them, and responding in ways that create more safety, openness, affection, and partnership.
Most of the work happens privately between you and your partner. You will not be asked to share private relationship details with the room.
What you'll practice
Recognizing the recurring cycle that tends to pull you apart
Understanding the protective reactions each of you brings into conflict
Learning how your nervous systems influence the way you read and respond to one another
Communicating from a more grounded and vulnerable place
Repairing disconnection more quickly
Reconnecting with what you value and appreciate about your relationship
Choosing one or two concrete practices to bring home
Who this is for
This is for couples who love each other and still sometimes find themselves caught in the same loop.
Maybe the pattern looks like defensiveness. Maybe it looks like distance. Maybe one person pushes and the other shuts down. Maybe you both leave conversations feeling misunderstood, alone, or like the person you love has somehow become the threat.
You do not need to be in crisis to come. You also do not need to have everything figured out. This is simply a guided space to get out of the weeds, remember what you are trying to build together, and practice finding your way back.
What to bring
A notebook or journal, if you like to write
Water
Comfortable clothes
A willingness to pause, listen, and try something different
Your partner, exactly as they are
Good to know
This is not group therapy.
Couples will not be expected to share private relationship details publicly.
Most of the deeper work happens privately between partners.
The session is structured, guided, and designed to feel emotionally safe.
The goal is not to decide who is right or wrong — it is to understand the pattern and practice repair.
