The Freedom to Ask: A Playful Exploration series
Series: A Playful Exploration of Authentic Expression, Embodiment & Nourishing Connection
What changes when you stop trying to earn acceptance—and begin embodying it?
Many of us have learned to hide parts of ourselves to stay connected. We soften our truth, silence our needs, or hesitate to ask for what we want because we’re afraid it will create distance, rejection, or disconnection.
But what if belonging isn’t something another person gives you?
What if belonging is something you cultivate from within—and something we consciously create together?
This playful, embodied evening is an invitation to remember that your voice matters. Your needs matter. Your boundaries matter. Your presence is not a burden—it is part of what makes community intelligent, alive, and whole.
Through movement, sound, relational practices, authentic conversation, and opportunities to both offer and receive nourishing touch (always with choice and consent), we’ll explore:
• Creating safety within yourself before seeking it from others
• Expressing your needs and desires with clarity, confidence, and openness
• Receiving another person’s “yes,” “no,” or “not now” without losing your sense of worth
• Honoring your own boundaries while deepening intimacy and trust
• Discovering how every authentic voice strengthens the collective
• Practicing belonging as something we generate—not something we wait to receive
• Experiencing the healing power of being seen exactly as you are
Together we’ll create a space that is playful, gentle, deeply nourishing, and rooted in authenticity. A place where you can experiment, take relational risks, laugh, soften, and discover what becomes possible when you no longer have to perform in order to belong.
Like a thriving ecosystem, healthy community isn’t created because everyone is the same. It flourishes because each unique expression contributes something essential to the whole.
As we each become more rooted in ourselves, we become safer places for one another.
Come experience what it feels like to embody your belonging, speak your truth, receive support, and remember that you have always been worthy of taking up space.
