Atleta Filipina is teaming up with Open Mat Makati for GIRLS GOT GRIT, a beginner-friendly, all-women's Jiu-Jitsu class designed to introduce Filipinas to the fundamentals of the sport in a fun, supportive, and empowering environment.
Whether you're looking to try a new sport, challenge yourself, or discover a different kind of strength, this is your chance to step outside your comfort zone and onto the mats!

WHAT TO EXPECT
In this 90-minute session, you'll learn the basic principles of Jiu-Jitsu through:
Warm-Up & Techniques: Get your body moving and familiarize yourself with the fundamentals.
Beginner Skills: Learn essential movements and techniques to build your foundation.
Situational Sparring: Apply what you've learned through guided, beginner-friendly practice.
No previous Jiu-Jitsu experience is required!
WHAT TO WEAR
Come in comfortable athletic clothing that allows you to move freely:
Leggings
Sports shirt with sleeves (no sleeveless tops)
No Gi required!
Friendly reminder: Keep your nails trimmed, tie your hair back, and remove jewelry before stepping onto the mats.
