Inspired by Shamane Tan’s fourth book, published by Penguin Random House SEA and featuring cover messages from former President Mdm Halimah Yacob and Razer co-founder and CEO Min-Liang Tan, the evening brings one powerful question to life:
Who told you that you couldn’t, and what did you do anyway?
You will hear from people who were underestimated, discouraged or told they did not belong. Some changed direction. Some kept going. Some are still figuring it out.
Their stories will come together on a live digital wall, capturing the distance between “The Told” and “The Did.”
