Women Changemakers Gathering in Singapore
A safe place for women and non-binary changemakers (and aspiring ones) to meet one another;
A small-scale gathering where you can genuinely connect — and actually spend time working alongside one another;
A community where you don't just network, but show up as you are and participate equally as an agent of change;
A space to share what you're working on, exchange ideas, offer support, and spark new collaborations;
A tribe you can return to — to build trust, intergenerational friendships, and a shared sense of momentum.
This is what this gathering is about.
A NATURE GATHERING: INNER GARDEN 🌱 Walk. Ground. Reflect. Gather.
We spend so much of our lives building, creating, advocating and caring for what is around us. But how often do we tend to what is growing within us?
Inner Gardening is an invitation to return to nature — and to ourselves. Through a slow walk, grounding practices, guided reflection and conversation, we'll explore our inner landscape: what we're nurturing, what we may need to release, and what we want to make space for next.
Just women walking, breathing, sharing and remembering that growth — like nature — doesn't always need to be rushed.
Co-hosted by Sandy Tiu and Karina Russell, and facilitated by Girls Be Change. Sandy opens the space for women changemakers, while Karina brings evidence-informed, nature-rooted wellness into the experience.
Let's share the Saturday with a morning walk, reflection and potluck breakfast with women changemakers in Singapore. 💛
No titles. No networking. No need to arrive with answers.
What to bring:
Your presence
Your senses, open and unhurried
A simple potluck breakfast item to share — fruits, bakery, salad, sandwiches, or whatever you feel like bringing. Nothing fancy or complicated.
Language: English
This gathering is open to women/womxn and non-binary changemakers (and aspiring ones).
What is the Women Changemakers Community Series?
The idea began in the summer of 2023 when two changemakers in Hong Kong, Carmen Chan (Girls Be Change) and Dorothy Lam (Dream Impact), questioned and envisioned what an ideal community looks like. We need a safe place among women changemakers to have organic meetups, intentional conversations, and idea exchange with social ease — to find inspiration and encouragement from each other, and build authentic friendships and support networks.
The first Women Changemakers Community Gathering was held in Hong Kong on March 8, 2024 at International Women's Day. Ever since then, Girls Be Change has partnered with 40+ organizations and gathered 400+ women changemakers in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Singapore, Kenya, Tanzania, Denmark, Malta, Peru, and the US. With 25+ gatherings around the globe, a vibrant community of global women changemakers has been formed and connected — raising questions, exchanging ideas, and celebrating wins.

Sandy Tiu | Webeings, Women In Climate, I Am Sustainable Studio
Sandy is a founder, writer, yoga teacher and Reiki practitioner who cares about how we live, work and create, with greater intention and care for one another and the world around us.
Through I Am Sustainable Studio, she works with hospitality, brands and local makers to transform textile waste into new materials and products. Through We Beings, she shares simple rituals for slowing down and reconnecting with ourselves.
A registered RYT-200 yoga teacher, Sandy is drawn to the small, grounding practices that help us listen more closely to our bodies, to nature and to each other. She is also on the advisory board of Girls Be Change and leads its Singapore chapter, helping build a community where women and non-binary changemakers can meet with openness, care and purpose.
For Inner Gardening, Sandy is co-hosting a gentle space to walk, reflect and share—as we tend to what’s growing within us and alongside one another.
