​We would like to welcome you to the next installment of the Salon of the California Institute of Machine Consciousness!

​What separates humans from animals is... civilization, and civilization is... based on reinforcement learning? Is it our desire that makes us human, our resistance to it, our conditioning, or our ability to intelligently adapt to our environment? Michel Gondry (we already watched "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind") and Charlie Kauffman let us study human nature, in most insightful, funny and slightly disturbing ways.
