Release Your Anger Reclaim Your Power | Women Anger Release
About This Event
You don't remember the last time you screamed.
You feel uncomfortable around anger, yours or anyone else's. You've built a life around being easy to be with: agreeable, understanding, endlessly accommodating. And somewhere along the way, you convinced yourself you simply don't get angry.
But anger doesn't disappear when it's not expressed.
It goes underground and it shows up anyway, in unhealthy ways.
In your mind, as irritability, restlessness, a harsh inner critic. As the fear of being "too much," of disappointing someone, of making anyone uncomfortable by saying what you actually need. As the quiet hindsight of realizing — after the fact — that a boundary was crossed.
In your behaviour, as conflict-avoidance and perfectionism. As over-apologizing, over-giving, over-understanding people who treat you poorly. As a need for control, and a habit of judging yourself and others harshly.
In your body, as tension in your jaw, neck, and shoulders. As low energy and exhaustion. Sometimes, as inflammation, autoimmune symptoms, or burnout.
If any of this sounds familiar, this workshop is for you.
Who this is for
The good girls. The people-pleasers. The ones who always follow the rules and are exhausted by it.
What we'll do
Psycho-education — understand what repressed anger actually is, and why it lives in your body the way it does
Somatic exercises — learn practical, body-based tools to safely release anger
Guided release — a supported space to actually let it out, together
What you'll walk away with
A felt sense of your own bodily strength
A somatic reference point for where your boundaries live in your body
More clarity on what's been getting in the way of setting better boundaries
A reframed, less fearful relationship with anger
A feeling of empowerment — and of not being alone in this
