Street Design Standards Working Group November Monthly Meeting

​November Meeting: November 8, 1pm - 3pm at the Breathe Building (909 12th St)

​Our Street Design Standards Working Group meets monthly, on the 2nd Sunday of each month from 1-3 PM, rotating between Old Soul Coffee Shop (812 21st St) and the Breathe building (909 12th Street). Check above for on Discord for this months location.

​Our group looks at ways we can improve our city street design guidelines to create safer and more livable streets. No experience necessary except a desire to learn (none of us are engineers) although conversations may sometimes get nerdy. A few topics we will be looking at include: trees, bike lane widths, signal timing, sidewalk widths, slip lanes, liability, road diets, design/target speeds, ??? (BYO passion topic!)
