As we’ve observed over the last few years more and more venture capital flowing into health tech broadly, and specifically health care delivery models, we’ve also seen a significant rise in interest from the clinician community in investing in these companies.
We hear from a growing number of clinicians interested in migrating from traditional careers in medicine to more investing oriented careers in the health tech community.
To give an inside look into the journey from clinical medicine to investing, we will be joined by Tara Bishop (Founder at Black Opal Ventures) to learn from her own experience making the transition. Tara is trained in internal medicine and palliative care, as well as has held roles at McKinsey and was the CMO at Bind Benefits prior to starting Black Opal.
