Talk: A Deep Dive into India

​Sitesh spent 2024 revisiting cities across India and conducting a systematic civilizational study to decide whether moving back to the country of origin makes sense, comparing online narratives with offline realities.

​Talk is based on two deep dive essays I wrote while curating thoughts on macro (economy) and micro (culture) from that effort last year:
- A dive into Economy of India
- A critique of life in India

​On Economy, I peel realities leveraging my background in finance & statistics.
On Culture, I draw from cultural comparative studies and direct lived experience of the first 20+ years of growing up in India, followed by spending time across 37 countries over the last decade.
