Why do I do these?

I wanted to share my core motivation behind these sessions. I believe it matters. And I believe it is very unique.

I do everything I do because I want to help great people get ahead and learn the rarest and most potent skills to do so.

Your life is on a branch of the multiverse. I want your life (and career) to be on the highest branch possible, filled with more opportunities, success, and quality of life.

The Skill of Actually Thinking Logically

Here's the uncomfortable part: your brain is designed to avoid logic. Memory is free, logic is expensive, and the brain always takes the cheaper tool then tries to make it feel like logic. That's why "we should move fast" and "bias to action" feel so right while actually making most teams dumber.

Monday's post showed you the trap. Friday is where we build the way out, diving into a sample of the tools from my upcoming Maven course on Logical Thinking, live, with your real decisions on the table.

What you'll learn

  • Why memory, fear, and excitement masquerade as logic and how to catch the impostor in the moment

  • Real reasoning, step by step: cause and effect inside your actual conditions, not the conditions Google had when they said "fail faster"

  • How to see the whole outcome you'll get, side effects and nth-order effects included, before you decide, not after

  • How logical thinkers use principles to know when to think harder, when to think less, and how to break ties

  • Live workshopping: bring a decision, a "should" from your culture, or a principle you're drafting, and we'll reason through it together

The Structure

These 90-minute Friday sessions are a blend of original material, discussion, Q&A, and take-home materials.

Afterwards, you'll receive:

  • The recording of the session

  • A PDF of the presentation and the reasoning framework

  • A discount for 1:1 coaching
