The Privacy Center at Georgetown Law and Tech Policy Press are launching "The Edge Dialogues" on October 22.
This bimonthly series will explore fundamental issues and ideas upstream of tech policy. It will dig into questions we are often told we have no right to ask to understand why so many years of conversations haven’t led to laws and policies that actually keep tech companies in check. We don’t want to talk about “AI governance”; we want to talk about power, labor, war, justice, privacy, art, community, and the problem of human consciousness (for starters!). Join us for this virtual series of events.
The kickoff event will feature remarks from Dr. Alondra Nelson, Harold F. Linder Chair at the Institute for Advanced Study.
