CHINA ALTS Zurich 2026
China, Reconsidered
China’s place in global portfolios is being reconsidered - not simply in terms of whether to invest, but how, where, with whom, and under what conditions.
CHINA ALTS
An annual gathering for senior European allocators and leading China-focused investment managers, dedicated entirely to China alternatives and built around the Europe–China investment relationship.
Across three focused conversations, the programme examines public-market dispersion, the next innovation cycle, and the conditions under which institutions can reassess China exposure.
The Conversations
Venture Capital - “Hype Cycle or Supercycle”
AI, robotics, and blockbuster IPOs. Too early to tell, too late to ignore. A closer look at the technologies, companies, and exit pathways shaping the next phase of China venture capital.
Hedge Funds - “Up 100, Down 20”
Same market, same year. Winners and losers, further apart than ever. A discussion about dispersion, manager differentiation, downside discipline, and where China-focused hedge funds are finding—or failing to find—repeatable alpha.
Limited Partners - “Uninvestable, Unavoidable”
The narrative has turned. What does it take to move? European allocators discuss how they are reassessing China exposure, governance, pacing, access, and the conditions required for renewed conviction.
