About Event

Most traditional stress management advice tells you to do the impossible: eliminate your stressors. But if you are building a company, freelancing, or navigating a high-demand career, stress is a non-negotiable part of the landscape.

This workshop is about transforming how your brain reads them and learning how to safely accept and process them.

When you understand how your brain appraises a threat, you stop fighting your physiological responses and start working with them. That is cognitive resilience.

If you’ve been productive for a long time but increasingly feel mentally depleted underneath, this session will give you a biology-backed operating system to navigate high-demand environments while maintaining connection to your energy.

The Three Pillars We’ll Explore

  • Spot It (Awareness): Deconstructing subtle, chronic cognitive overload, attention fragmentation, constant mental context-switching, and the feeling of being psychologically "on" even outside of work.

  • Read It (Neurobiology): Demystifying the stress-response system (the HPA axis and cortisol). Learning to read your body’s unique physiological dashboard before you hit a wall.

  • Welcome It (Acceptance & Regulation): Shifting from resistance to radical somatic acceptance. We will practice neuroscience-informed micro-interventions to change how your brain appraises pressure, allowing your nervous system to down-regulate in real-time.

About the facilitator

Angela combines 10 years of experience across cognitive psychology, neuroscience research, product development, leadership, and coaching in high-demand environments.

She believes understanding how the brain and body operate is one of the highest-leverage investments we can make, shaping how we think, work, recover, and lead.

The workshop takes place at Eixample 46 - a calm, design-led coworking space in central Barcelona, Eixample built for focused work and meaningful conversations.

Set inside a heritage apartment with natural light and a quieter atmosphere than traditional coworking spaces, the environment is designed to support clarity, deep work, and connection.

Participants are welcome to stay and work from the space after the workshop.
