✨ Spirituality Under The Stars: A Sunday Night Social Walk to Close off Muslim Tech Week London
Join us for a gentle, social evening walk as we bring Muslim Tech Week to a close under London’s iconic skyline. This is a chance to unwind, reflect, and connect - with community, with nature, and with yourself.
We’ll take in some of the capital’s most stunning landmarks, from riverside views and golden-hour backdrops to the glow of Big Ben and the London Eye at night. Along the way, we’ll pause for photos, reflections and a congregational Maghrib prayer in an open, public space.
This walk is open to everyone - MTW passholders, friends and anyone who wants to end the week on a peaceful, connected note. For those attending 📚 Peter Gould's book launch 📚 - the meeting point for this walk is 15 mins away from the book launch venue, so you can join us straight afterwards.
🕗 When: Sunday 16 June, 8:00–10:00 PM
📍 Meeting Point: Embankment Station
🕌 Maghrib prayer stop included
📸 Expect plenty of selfie opportunities
🎉 No need to be attending Muslim Tech Fest to join
Feel free to leave at any point - no pressure to stay for the whole thing! The entire walking distance won't be more than 3.5km in total and will have plenty of stops. Bring walking shoes, a light jacket and a prayer mat or scarf to pray on. Come solo or with friends; this is your moment to soak it all in, express gratitude to Allah and say your final salaams - until the next time we all meet inshAllah :)
This walk will be hosted by Taz Latif - a DEI and Social Impact expert, public speaker and key organiser of Muslim Tech Week London, Taz is a storyteller and community builder with a passion for creating inclusive spaces where tech, identity and culture intersect.
