Returning to Work, Together
Returning to work after parental leave is one of the biggest transitions a family can experience—and it often comes with more questions than answers. While you can't plan for everything, you can put the right conversations, systems, and support in place to make the transition feel more manageable.
Join Expecting Together and Sara Geiger, founder of Geiger Coaching & Consulting, executive and career coach, and mom of two boys, for an honest, practical conversation about navigating the return to work. Together, we'll explore strategies to lighten the mental load, communicate effectively with your partner and workplace, build a support system that works for your family, and create routines that can adapt as your family's needs evolve.
You'll leave with practical tools, strategies, and resources to help you approach this transition with greater confidence. If you'd like to continue the conversation or receive more personalized support, Sara offers one-on-one coaching and facilitated groups for parents navigating this transition.

About Expecting Together
Expecting Together is a modern prenatal education and community program that matches groups of expecting couples by due date and neighborhood, helping families build both knowledge and real relationships before baby arrives. Through an evidence-based, partner-inclusive series led by experienced nurses, nurse practitioners, and midwives, both expecting parents learn what to expect through pregnancy, birth, and the early postpartum weeks while forming lasting friendships with other families entering the same stage of life.
Built on the belief that no one should navigate this season alone, Expecting Together is redefining prenatal education from a one-time class into the foundation of a lasting social network. Families continue connecting through social events, postpartum programming, and an active community long after their classes end.
Expecting Together currently offers in-person cohorts throughout Chicago and Miami, with a virtual New York cohort launching this fall.
