From senior lawyer to industry operator to investor as Co-Founder and COO of Start Codon, Cambridge's early-stage life sciences venture capital fund and venture builder, to now stepping back into founder mode with his new venture focused on immune health, OtoImmune, Dan brings a rare perspective on what it really takes to build, scale, and start again. Along the way, his partnership with co-founder Jason Mellad helped shape Start Codon into one of Cambridge's leading life sciences accelerators, while his role as a mentor at Cambridge Judge Business School has seen him support the next generation of founders directly.
This fireside chat will dig into the realities of restarting as a founder, the lessons learned from building a company from the ground up, and how to know when it's time to pivot. A great opportunity for founders and small business owners to pick the brains of someone who's done it more than once.

Since its launch in 2016, more than 25 chapters have been founded worldwide, holding events across cities including Athens, Boston, Dubai, Hong Kong, London, New York, and Sydney. The network now includes over 5,000 members across LinkedIn, a private mentoring platform, and a newsletter community.
