Letters to a young DJ: Djing Basics Workshop

​A quiet introduction to the art of DJing as ritual.

​In this workshop, I share the essential foundations of DJ craft through the lens of lived experience as a professional DJ.

Not only technique, but presence, listening, and the creation of shared states through sound.

​We will explore how rhythm, frequency, and storytelling can open social and self-empowering trance-like states of consciousness within a musical and communal space.

​Part learning, part experience.

​We close by jamming together with Deep House and Dub Techno, allowing the theory to dissolve into movement, connection, and night.

​Open to beginners, curious listeners, and anyone who feels called by the dancefloor.
