WorkShop with Parents | Unicorn School
How can school develop your child’s entrepreneurial thinking?
A workshop for parents only · Web Summit Tech Week, Lisbon
📅 12 November, 1:00pm to 3:00pm · 📍 Rua Gomes Freire 98, Lisbon
In the age of AI and technology, knowledge is everywhere. What will set our children apart is how they think. That’s why school today has to teach entrepreneurial thinking: the ability to see problems and opportunities, set big goals, act and create.
We created Unicornschool so that children develop entrepreneurial thinking and learn to think at scale. An international primary school where entrepreneurial and large-scale thinking run through every subject, alongside a strong academic programme. In this three-hour workshop we look at where education is heading, and how a school can develop this way of thinking in your child.
For parents entrepreneurs
The trends reshaping education: AI tutors, personalised learning, project-based learning, and which of them actually work for children
What entrepreneurial thinking really is: not business lessons, but a set of skills that can be developed from an early age
How a school can develop it every day: through every subject, real projects, cases from companies and pitching to real audiences
Why it has to go together with strong academics, and why children still need to write by hand in the age of AI
What to look for when choosing a school, and how to support this thinking at home
How we do it at Unicornschool: our methodology, the Thinking Cycle, and what a day from 08:30 to 18:00 looks like
You’ll leave with a clear picture of how your organisation can shape the next generation of entrepreneurs, and with the people ready to do it with you.
