Notion 3B: Break, Build, and Bloom
Notion 3B: Break, Build, and Bloom is a beginner-friendly session designed for students who are new to Notion and want to learn how to use it as a practical tool for organizing their academic and personal lives. The session introduces Notion from the ground up, beginning with the identification of common student challenges such as disorganized notes, missed deadlines, and scattered planning systems. Through the Break phase, participants reflect on these struggles and recognize the need for a more structured approach to managing their responsibilities. In the Build phase, students are guided step-by-step in creating their own basic Notion workspace, including pages, simple databases, and a functional student dashboard that they can immediately use. Finally, in the Bloom phase, participants personalize and refine their workspace to fit their study habits, goals, and preferences, allowing them to develop a system that supports consistency and productivity. By the end of the session, attendees are expected to have a fully functional Notion setup and a clearer, more organized approach to managing their academic responsibilities.
