Better Communities: A Social Innovation Workshop
Better Communities: Exploring Accessibility Through Systems Thinking
Join the Centre for Social Enterprise on October 21, from 2 - 4:30 p.m., for an interactive workshop exploring accessibility and how people with disabilities experience and navigate their communities.
The event will begin with a panel discussion featuring different perspectives on accessibility, followed by a hands-on systems thinking activity. Participants will explore barriers and existing supports within communities, consider how different factors are interconnected, and reflect on opportunities to create more accessible and inclusive communities.
Through discussion, collaboration, and systems thinking, participants will gain a deeper understanding of accessibility and how looking at the bigger picture can help us approach complex community challenges.
No prior knowledge or experience with systems thinking or accessibility is required. Just bring your curiosity and a willingness to learn and engage in discussion!
