

She Swims — A Unity Swimming Open Day
Are you a woman in Leicester who has always wanted to swim but never felt like the pool was for you? Have fear, lack of confidence, or simply not seeing anyone who looks like you held you back?
She Swims is for you.
On Saturday 13th June, Unity Swimming CIC opens its doors for a free community open day at the Leicester African Caribbean Centre, a warm, welcoming celebration of women in water.
Come along to: 🌊 Hear inspiring stories from women from Black & Asian communities who have been on their own swimming journey 🏊🏾♀️ Meet our qualified swim teachers and ask anything you've ever wanted to know 🎓 Find out about funded swimming places, including a fully funded swim teacher pathway 🏅 Celebrate the achievements of past Unity Swimming members 🤝 Connect with a community of women who get it
Doors open 1pm. Event runs 1:15pm–2:15pm.

This event is free and open to all. Men are also welcome to find out about our mixed adult Friday sessions.
