About Event

WEAV Capital is a gender-lens venture capital fund investing in founders spearheading the future of Africa, across the future of climate, finance, and work. We back ambitious, high-growth companies led by exceptional founders who are building transformative solutions for the continent.

The Female FoundHer Breakfast is WEAV Capital’s annual, exclusive roundtable for female founders. It was first launched in 2024 as an intimate gathering of female founders, designed to spark high-impact conversations, meaningful connections, and valuable insights for women leading high-growth companies.

Building on that foundation, the 2026 edition will focus on
"Building Resilience and Capital Efficiency in a Capital-Constrained World".

In today’s environment, capital is more selective, fundraising cycles are longer, and performance expectations are higher. The founders who will thrive are those who can operate with discipline, clarity, and intentional capital deployment.

This year, the goal is to equip founders with the tools, discipline, and peer insights needed to navigate tighter funding cycles while building enduring businesses. We will bring together a curated group of female founders to exchange practical, real-world insights on:
• Cash management best practices in enduring, high-performing companies
• Raising and structuring bridge capital to accelerate toward clear milestones
• Extending runway and strengthening capital efficiency while compounding long-term value
• Building lean, focused teams that maximize execution capacity and morale
• Practical tools and operating systems used by disciplined, growth-ready founders
• Downsizing the right way: preserving morale, credibility, and execution capacity

Objective:
• Facilitate peer-to-peer learning and shared experiences among female founders operating in a capital-constrained environment.
• Provide a space for open conversations about cash discipline, runway management, and capital strategy.
• Foster meaningful connections between founders who can exchange insights, frameworks, and practical lessons.
• Share real-world case studies and actionable strategies that help companies build resilience while maintaining growth momentum.

Target Business:
Seed / Series A and above companies looking for practical insight on building resilience, improving capital efficiency, and scaling responsibly in a more selective capital market.

How To Register:
Participation is highly selective, with only 25 slots available. Registrations will be reviewed based on alignment with the event’s objectives, and selected participants will receive an official email confirmation with further details.

Join us for a focused morning of insight, connection, and disciplined growth, as we strengthen a community of female founders building resilient, high-impact businesses
