​Designing for Women: Rethinking Systems, Not Just Solutions with Jeannette Weber

​What if designing for women isn’t about inclusion, but about fundamentally rethinking the systems we design within?

​In this session, we’ll explore how traditional Design often reinforces existing power structures and reproduces gender inequalities, and what it means to instead actively challenge the status quo. From questioning inherited norms to creating more equitable outcomes, this conversation invites a shift toward true systemic change.

​Jeannette is a strategic designer driven by curiosity, systems thinking, and human-centered innovation. Her work focuses on creating meaningful experiences and services that improve everyday lives, with a particular passion for women’s health, healthcare transformation, and inclusive design.

​Strategic Service Designer @Philips Amsterdam

​She is interested in the intersection of design, wellbeing, and social impact, exploring how thoughtful design can address complex challenges and drive positive change. With a strong foundation in service design and customer experience, she brings together research, strategy, and storytelling to envision better futures and communicate ideas with clarity.
