CAAGE Mahjong Tournament Benefiting Charity Cultural Services Center
Join us for a fun Mahjong Tournament Style and celebrate Mid-Autumn Moon Festival to support a great Chinatown Nonprofit and CAAGE. There will be food and drinks and Mahjong Lessons too.
The Coalition of Asian American Government Employees (CAAGE) is an organization designed to support and uplift Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) employees in government roles at the local, state, and federal levels. Its primary focus is fostering a sense of community, representation, and professional growth among AANHPI working in public service.
Charity Cultural Services Center (CCSC) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that has been empowering and assisting underserved communities in San Francisco since 1984. They provide vocational training, case management, job placement and job retention for adults. They also provide leadership and academic programs for students under 18 in the City of San Francisco.
Mahjong Tournament Rules
Format: 3 Hours · 4 Tables · $75 Buy-In
Players: 16 total (4 per table)
Rounds: 3 rounds, 50 minutes each
Rotation: Players rotate tables after each round
Scoring: Standard Hong Kong rules (net points recorded each round)
Time: Finish current hand when time is called
Winners: Top total score after 3 rounds
Prizes: 1st–3rd place reward and gift

Donation Entry Fees
Mahjong Tournament ($75.00) x 16 seats - Participate as a contestant in Mahjong Table tournament in addition to food, drink, and festivities at CCSC.
Learn to Play ($20.00) x 8 seats - Intrigued about the game and want to learn to play in addition food, drink, and festivities at CCSC.
Community Supporter ($10.00) - Includes food, drink, and festivities at CCSC.
Donation & Membership ($5 to $20) unable to attend, but still want to donate to the great organization.
