Middle Ground Coworking: South Loop Pop Up #1
We're excited to host three pop-ups in the South Loop this November! If you can't make this one, we hope to see you at another.
What is Middle Ground? Middle Ground Coworking is a coworking and playcare space for parents looking for an alternative to traditional childcare while they work. We don't believe parents should have to choose between being productive and being present, or between building a career and being there for their littles.
We're working toward opening our own space. In the meantime, we're hosting pop-ups to introduce the concept to more parents in the neighborhood. The best part? We'd love for you to help design our pop-ups and future space with us, so please share any ideas or suggestions you have!
How it works Each pop-up is a 3-hour focused work block for parents, while kids ages 1 to 4 are cared for nearby and engaged in creative activities. Please note that parents remain responsible for their children throughout the event. Our care team will be actively engaged with your kids, and if your child really needs you, we'll come get you.
Photos and privacy We'll take photos at our pop-ups to help promote future events. We respect your privacy and your children's: all kids' faces will be blurred in any promotional material. Let us know if you'd like your face blurred too.

For parents
When you arrive, you'll meet our care team at drop-off, in a room close to the workspace.
You'll then settle into a 3-hour focused work block in an open space, with coffee and pastries on us. Private areas are available for phone calls.
Our care team doesn't handle potty trips or diaper changes. If your child needs you for this or anything else, we'll let you know. Our goal is to protect your focus time, so if we interrupt you, it's because your child truly needs you.
Please bring nut-free snacks and water for your child. Add a label with your child's name for easier identification.
