hot film summer presents "Build Your Impact Campaign: From Goals to Movement."
Brought to you by Picture Motion and the nonfiction hotlist
As part of the nonfiction hotlist’s community-building initiative, Picture Motion is partnering to bring “Build Your Impact Campaign: From Goals to Movement” to hot film summer!
Now more than ever, filmmakers are not just sharing stories; they are sparking dialogue and helping shape real-world change. But turning a film into a meaningful impact campaign starts with clarity: What are your goals? Who needs to see this film? How will they see it? And who can help carry it forward?
In this session, we break down a practical approach to defining your impact goals, identifying the audiences most connected to your story, and building partnerships that can extend your film’s reach. From grassroots organizations to advocacy groups, educators, and cultural institutions, we’ll explore how to align your film with the people and communities who can activate it.
You’ll leave with a clearer sense of how to use your film as a tool for engagement, supporting conversations, increasing viewership, strengthening networks, and contributing to broader movement-building efforts.
