About Event

This month we'll be learning how to make maps and analyse geographic data using the Python programming language.

In this session we'll be following a tutorial taking us through how to work with the two main types of geographic data to produce different types of maps, including all the data analysis needed to make them work. We'll initially focus on static maps, then look at how to produce interactive geographic data visualisations.

All of our events are suitable for beginners, and no programming experience is required. Bring a laptop along as this a practical, hands-on workshop. Please also sign up for a Dropbox account if you don't already have one so you can edit the shared doc we'll be using during the event.
