Launching the US-Italy Trusted Tech Accelerator | Institutional Session: Building the Architecture to Scale

​Hosted at the Embassy of Italy and convened jointly by the Embassy, Krach Institute for Tech Diplomacy and the Transatlantic Harmonic Foundation (THF), the Institutional Session of the Fifth THF U.S. Stakeholders' Meeting merges this year with the U.S.–Italy Strategic Dialogue on Trusted Tech for Democracy, shifting from building partnerships to building the architecture to scale them. The Session brings together senior Italian and U.S. leaders from government, industry, research, and finance, alongside the diplomatic and business communities of both countries, creating a premier occasion for high-level networking and relationship-building across the transatlantic ecosystem. The morning examines how the Global Trusted Tech Standard (xGTT) can enable industrial cooperation and how public and private capital can better support promising partnerships. The panels will focus on: financing mechanisms, the trusted-technology framework, and the first concrete partnerships emerging from the previous day's working session. As a deliverable, a joint U.S.–Italy acceleration program on Strategic Industrial Research and Innovation will be launched, alongside a Working Group on the Financial Facility exploring a future Transatlantic Investment Facility. This project includes also a U.S. roadshow in the coming months, stopping by the main American technology ecosystems. A concluding networking lunch offers participants a further opportunity to deepen connections and explore new collaborations. Together, the Embassy of Italy, the Krach Institute, and THF aim to move trusted technology from a shared principle to an operating framework driving investment, competitiveness, and employment in both countries.
