Aia's 30th Birthday🫐
Our favorite Libra baddie is turning 30!!⚖️🔥🎉 Gather 'round the fire, come enjoy some sweet treats and some herbal ones, and shower Aia with affirmations.
It wouldn't be an Aia celebration without acknowledging the importance of the date for Palestinian liberation. Channel the resistance and defiance of October 7th. We will have an altar to honor the martyrs we have lost since the beginning of the accelerated genocide. Bring something for the altar, wear your keffiyeh, or whatever helps ground you in solidarity with the Palestinian people, and the collective struggle. Bring your heart and soul, bring your power. Also, please join the PFC contingent on the October 10th day of action march for Palestine.
The vibe for our celebration is denim & cotton candy 🫐🍭👖Bring a sweet treat or a dish to share and dress like Aia (no hijab necessary if you don't wear one yourself 😌) In true Libra fashion, Aia has requested guests to embody their vibe. Good luck matching their charm, smile and giggles though.
If the weather is crisp and manageable, we'll be at a fire pit at Promontory Point (5491 S DuSable Lake Shore Dr, Chicago, IL 60615). Bundle up! It's always colder by the lake.
If Chicago does its thing and makes us go indoors we'll be at an indoor venue TBD (with a fireplace!).
Hosts will bring something to share, but please bring a side, drink, or dish to add to the feast! Please also bring a chair and/outdoor blanket.
If you have any physical pictures with/of Aia, please bring them to the gathering! There will be a small photo album (4x6) available to add these in.
