4 Week Mindfulness for Neurodiversity Course (In Person)
Rachel Ardagh is a Mindfulness Teacher and Mental Health Occupational Therapist at The Mindfulness and Compassion Therapy Centre, who specialises in supporting neurodivergent young people and adults.
This bespoke in-person course will run over 4 weeks and is open to neurodivergent adults aged 18 and over. All neurotypes are welcome, and no formal diagnosis is required to attend. The course will draw on mindfulness practices adapted for neurodivergent profiles, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindful Self-Compassion. The emphasis will be on trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches particularly relevant for ADHD, Autism, AuDHD, or related traits.
Aims of this course
To support neurodivergent adults to bring mindfulness into daily life through an experiential, supportive, and trauma-informed group environment.
To provide accessible and sustainable mindfulness practices and tools that participants can continue to use beyond the course.
To deepen understanding of how mindfulness and compassion practices work, and how to adapt them to support emotional regulation and everyday challenges.
To explore mindfulness and self-compassion as a way of responding to self-criticism and difficulties with executive functioning.
To provide space for questions and discussion with Rachel, helping participants leave with greater confidence in applying mindfulness—from the pleasant moments to the more challenging ones.
