uta 唄 & the silk road

​hi beautiful people! i’m doing something i’ve never done before and will be sharing music off my forthcoming visual album on December 19. accompanied by some beings im so grateful to create with - krishna, nēkajun, rishikesh tirumala, kylie tseng, and kumar butler 🦋 please come celebrate my solar return, the new moon in sagittarius, and the solstice with us.

​personal note: I’m sitting with the sheer number of loved ones that have become ancestors throughout this snake year. it’s been relentless and heartbreaking and also wow, what an inheritance to live into. my prayer is that this music can create a field for us to commune with the ones who love us from the other side and continue to embody our inheritance of their legacy as we move toward the year of the yang fire horse.
