How to make the case for yourself when no one else is
You've identified you want to make a change in your career or life in general.
Maybe you've applied to a few jobs. Maybe you have a blank Word document labelled "Business plan". Maybe you want to move abroad on your own but are scared as hell.
Now you're getting rejection after rejection. You can't think of why anyone would trust your business. You start to think that staying deep in your comfort zone doesn't sound so bad after all.
I've had a version of this conversation with dozens of people over the past year:
A mum of two who wanted to get back into work after six years but needed to build up her confidence first.
A project manager who wrote out a list of everything he'd achieved, read it often, and still didn't believe a word of it.
A new business owner post-layoff who needed to build her self-belief before building a business plan.
All of them were good at their job, great even. And yet none of them could see it.
We often rely on signals and external validation to believe in ourselves. So when you're not getting that it's easy to start doubting yourself. I've been there myself over the last year. After I left my full-time job in May 2025, I was job hunting while building my coaching business alongside it. Countless rejections from job applications hit my confidence hard at a time when I needed to believe in myself and my business the most.
In this free coaching hour we'll work on your own case, starting with laying the foundation before you update your CV:
You'll create a written record of what you've achieved and are most proud of.
You'll gather evidence of the real impact you made.
You'll learn to describe that without feeling embarrassed or boastful.
You'll leave with real action steps you can take next.
Most of my clients come to me wanting more confidence. In my experience confidence turns up quietly, once you can point at something specific and say out loud what it was worth.
"My goals, my value, my next steps all felt confusing and overwhelming. Mario guided me to articulate what truly matters to me, understand my strengths, and rebuild my confidence."
— Tünde, former client
This webinar is an interactive conversation rather than a lecture. Think of it as a free group coaching session.
"Most coaches tell you what you should do, or what's wrong with your CV. Mario gave me the opportunity to discover for myself what I needed to focus on."
— Ricardo, former client
I'm running this as the first of a monthly series and I hope to see you there!
With love 💚
