DDTW: Aarhus | Cybersecurity During War and Peace
Danish Defense Tech Week: Aarhus | Cybersecurity During War and Peace
As part of Danish Defense Tech Week 2026, Defense Innovation Highway brings its national Defense Tech Meetup series to Aarhus, focusing on cybersecurity in military operations and the protection of critical infrastructure during peacetime. The event is co-organized by Startup Aarhus.
Cyber threats are no longer limited to traditional IT systems. On the battlefield, cyber operations can disrupt communications, military systems, and critical information flows. Beyond the battlefield, attacks on energy, transport, communications, and other essential infrastructure create growing challenges for civilian preparedness and emergency response.
The meetup will connect Ukraine's operational experience with Denmark's strengths in cybersecurity, technology, industry, and research to explore how lessons from wartime cyber operations can inform civilian resilience, infrastructure protection, and preparedness for future crises. Discussions will also address the role of startups, established companies, and public institutions in developing and deploying practical cybersecurity solutions.
The Ukrainian delegation joins Danish Defense Tech Week in partnership with IRON Cluster, a Ukrainian defense-tech cluster.
The event will bring together Danish and Ukrainian defense companies, military professionals, cybersecurity experts, researchers, investors, and public-sector stakeholders for expert discussions, startup introductions, and networking.
